How has Westfield Health helped you to support your employees’ wellbeing?

Our employees work in caring roles, they need to be compassionate and supportive to others, so it’s important that we provide the same support to them and enable them to be at their best.

We have 700 employees across the UK and the services from Westfield have allowed us to provide support to our whole workforce, should they choose to access it.

We chose Westfield Health because we need to give accurate information to our employees, particularly when we’re providing advice. The webinars and training are high quality and delivered by specialists and that’s what we like about Westfield’s services.

What impact have the wellbeing services had on your employees?

We started with the EAP and the Doctorline service is well used. We’ve since run webinars with accompanying health calendar resources, which were well received. We’ve also invested in mental health first aid training and we now have over 30 trained Mental Health First Aiders.

We aim to provide as much support to our people as we can. We know that everyone has different needs, so it’s important that it’s optional for our employees and it’s there for them if they want it. Each quarter we’ll ask our employees what webinar topics would be useful, listen to their feedback and tailor our wellbeing programme accordingly – that’s key to providing meaningful support to our people.
