Why did you choose the Health & Lifestyle Screenings and how did they benefit your employees?
We wanted to offer comprehensive health checks for our employees, and the Westfield Health screenings cover a range of metrics including blood pressure and cholesterol.
Some of our employees were nervous beforehand, but the results put people’s minds at rest because they were fitter and healthier than they thought they were.
How do your employees utilise the other Westfield Health wellbeing services?
The cash plan is well used by our employees. We always get good feedback from our staff who use the optical and dental benefits. We’ve recently upgraded the cover to include therapies, such as acupuncture and chiropractic, which several staff have used.
We also provide the Health Calendar which we’ve re-booked for next year — it’s helping us to build up a library of resources that our employees can refer to when they need it.
Outcome:
Employees enjoyed the experience of the health screenings and found the insights useful. Penrith Building Society has rebooked for next year and aim to do the health screenings each year.
